Over 2,200 overseas participants arrive in Dublin for the World Junior and Cadet Kickboxing Championships which were officially opened in City West.

The international event, supported by Fáilte Ireland, is set to generate an estimated €1.7 million revenue boost for the city as participants from across the globe check in to Citywest for the week-long event.

This is just one of a number of international events that Fáilte Ireland has helped Ireland win. A further 25 events have been secured for the next five years totalling over 45,000 international participants and revenue of €32 million.
