Taoiseach Enda Kenny speaks to Bloomberg in Davos

Taoiseach Enda Kenny is participating in the Annual Meeting of the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, Switzerland. Finance Minister Michael Noonan is also in attendance. The theme of this year’s meeting is ‘Responsive and Responsible Leadership’.

The Taoiseach and Minister Noonan are using their time in Davos to promote Ireland as a location for international business and investment in the context of Brexit and other current global developments.

The Taoiseach will have the opportunity to outline Ireland’s priorities in Brexit negotiations and our preparations in advance of negotiations at an Informal Gathering of World Economic Leaders on Thursday.

Later on Thursday evening, the Taoiseach and Minister Noonan will participate in an event organised by IDA Ireland for senior executives of major international companies, The Taoiseach will also take the opportunity to meet individually with leaders of several major multinational firms, both current and potential investors in Ireland.

The WEF Annual Meeting is attended by key political and business leaders, media and heads of international organisations from across the world. Attendance will provide an exceptional opportunity for the Taoiseach and Minister Noonan to promote Ireland’s distinctive strengths and interests as a key location for international business and investment.
