Enda Kenny elected as Taoiseach of the 32nd Dáil

On Friday, Enda Kenny was elected as Taoiseach of the 32nd Dail. After returning from Arás an Uachtaráin where he received his seal of office, he announced his nominations for Cabinet in the Dail. See the full list here

Tánaiste publishes O’Higgins Commission Report

On Wednesday Tánaiste and Justice Minister Frances Fitzgerald published the final report of the Commission of Investigation on Certain matters relative to the Cavan/Monaghan Division (the O'Higgins Commission).

Publication of A Programme for a Partnership Government

Following the first Cabinet meeting in Government Buildings, Taoiseach Enda Kenny published ‘A Programme for a Partnership Government’, the Programme for Government document agreed between the Fine Gael Party, the Independent Alliance and Independent TDs. Read the document here

Taoiseach launches A Day In May

On Thursday the Taoiseach launched 'A Day In May: Real Lives, True Stories'. The book tells the personal stories of some of those affected by the result of the Marriage Equality referendum last May, through one to one interviews with the author, journalist Charlie Bird.
