LEO Wicklow is hosting an ‘Accessing Finance for Your Business’ workshop which is aimed at companies with ambitions to grow, and provides information on, and access to, a range of funding providers and advice on how to approach the funding process.

Thinking of starting a business?

The network of 31 Local Enterprise Offices around the country run Start Your Own Business courses throughout the year for those who are thinking about starting a business, or are in the beginning stages of running their own business. Below is a snapshot of some upcoming courses run through the LEOs.

• LEO Carlow is hosting a three-week Start Your Own Business Course starting 29 June in Enterprise House, O’Brien Road, Carlow.
• LEO Dublin city is hosting a five-week Start Your Own Business Course starting 5 July in Buswells Hotel, Molesworth Street.
• LEO Offaly is hosting a three-week Start Your Own Business Course starting 29 August in Tullamore, Co. Offaly.

InterTradeIreland is also running a series of Business Planning workshops in July to help early stage businesses develop comprehensive business plans to support their ambitions for growth and to assist in raising investment finance.

Looking to expand your business online?

Local Enterprise Offices across the country are running workshops providing a broad and practical examination of the factors which have an influence on how an online business is developed. The workshops provide a thorough grounding in the skills needed to make informed decisions about developing an online business, as well as providing information on Government's Trading Online Voucher scheme, and how to apply.. Aimed at a non-technical, business audience, this seminar focuses on giving participants the skills to develop their own online business with a view to attracting their target market and making sales.
