Jobs Minister Mary Mitchell O'Connor today welcomed the news that professional services firm EY are to create 270 new jobs. The firm is to establish two new offices, one in Dublin and one in Galway. The firm provides assurance, tax, transaction and advisory services.

The Minister said the announcement was "a true mark of confidence in the Irish economy". 

The company will look for 220 experienced hires over the next 12 months, as well as 50 graduates in September. The new jobs include roles in accounting, finance, engineering, IT, consultancy and business, and will be based across EY’s seven offices in Ireland, including its new offices located in the Station Building, Harcourt Street, Dublin 2 and Eyre Square in Galway city.
