Taoiseach opens new €150m Google Data Centre

Taoiseach Enda Kenny today opened the new €150 million Google data centre in Dublin. The Taoiseach was joined by Tánaiste Frances Fitzgerald and Jobs Minister Mary Mitchell O'Connor to make the announcement. 

Google have also announced that total employment at Google Ireland has grown by 20% in the last twelve months. The company now employs 6,000 people in Ireland, with 250 open positions at the moment in their EMEA HQ in Dublin. You can find more information about job openings at Google Ireland here. 

To date Google has invested over €750 million in capital assets in Ireland.
