As part of Government’s ongoing consultation work on Brexit, a series of consultations and dialogues with civic society are taking place. Led by Ministers, these are an invaluable opportunity to hear directly about the all-island implications of Brexit, from a variety of stakeholders and across a wide range of sectors.

Second Plenary meeting of the All-Island Civic Dialogue
Taoiseach Enda Kenny and the Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade Charlie Flanagan convened the second Plenary meeting of the All-Island Civic Dialogue on Brexit in Dublin Castle on 17 February 2017.
The second session builds on the work of the first plenary and the fourteen All-Island sectoral dialogues. It also provided a further opportunity to capture the views of those most directly affected from across the island, as we approach the start of formal negotiations.

All-Island Civic Dialogue
Taoiseach Enda Kenny and the Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade Charlie Flanagan convened the second Plenary meeting of the All-Island Civic Dialogue on Brexit in Kilmainham in November 2016.
This all-day event provided an opportunity to hear the voices of the people affected by the vote, both directly and through their representative groups. It also provided an opportunity to map the challenges presented by Brexit and how they might impact on different elements of society and the economy on an all-island basis.
