Donohoe launches national tourism careers drive
Minister Donohoe launches the initiative in the Merrion Hotel with IHF President Stephen McNally
Tourism Minister Paschal Donohoe today launched a national careers drive for the tourism industry.
The initiative, called "Get a Life in Tourism", comes from the Irish Hotels Federation (IHF) and encourages students to consider a career in the tourism and hospitality sector. The drive targets 2nd level students aged 15 - 18 years, highlighting the variety of opportunities and courses available in an industry that contributes over €5 billion to the economy.
