Noonan welcomes NAMA report showing €1.8bn profit in 2015

Finance Minister Michael Noonan today welcomed the publication of the National Asset Management Agency (NAMA)'s 2015 Annual Report. The report showed the agency saw an after tax profit of €1.8 billion in 2015.
The profit marks an almost 300% increase on 2014 profits (€458 million). NAMA made its first full-year profit in 2011 and has made a profit every year since then. The report shows NAMA generated €9.1 billion in cash during 2015, with €8.5 billion coming from asset disposals.
Minister Noonan said that this progress "shows the efficiency and effectiveness of NAMA".
