Taoiseach Enda Kenny today visited Meath Enterprise Week, which targets companies setting up in Ireland offering an accessible location, talented labour force and available units at a reduced rental compared to the capital.

The Taoiseach attended one of the food events, the Meath Artisan Network, hosted by Rosita and John Moyles of J & M Foods in Navan.  The event was a celebration of the Artisan Food Producers of Meath who swept the boards at the recent Blas na hEireann (The Irish Food) Awards that recognises and rewards the very best tasting Irish food and drink products and the passionate people who make them.  The Taoiseach tasted some of the award winning foods and spoke about the importance of the food industry in Ireland.  He complimented the organisers of Meath Enterprise Week 2014 and spoke of their vision in showcasing Food, Digital and Women in Business.  He said that recognising that Meath is on the doorstep of Dublin is key in attracting companies to the county.
