Taoiseach presents Young Social Innovators awards

Taoiseach Enda Kenny with students Isabel Lavelle and Sharon Farrell from St Mary’s Ballina, Co Mayo who presented their project ‘Bring Back the Beat’ a CPR awareness campaign at the Awards in Citywest Dublin.

Taoiseach Enda Kenny today opened the annual Young Social Innovators Awards ceremony in Dublin. Over 6,500 students from across the country have taken part in the programme. 

 454 youth-led social innovation projects were created by young people all over Ireland as part of the initiative, with 60 selected to go forward for the prestigious title and awards.
