Ireland’s Local Authorities have launched a new initiative appealing to those who have unoccupied properties to offer them as temporary homes for those fleeing war in Ukraine.

The Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine today released the results of testing carried out as part of the official monitoring programme under the National Residue Control Plan (NRCP) in 2021 with the overall rate of compliance remaining at an extremely high level of 99.89%.
