Minister for Rural and Community Development, Heather Humphreys TD, and Minister of State, Joe O’Brien TD, have today launched a new €10 million Fund to support community and voluntary groups with the increased energy costs.

The Tánaiste and Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment, Leo Varadkar T.D., today responded to the Judgment of the Supreme Court that the Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement between the EU and Canada, commonly known as CETA, cannot be approved by Dáil Éireann under Article 29.5.2 of the Constitution.

The Minister for Overseas Development Aid and the Diaspora, Colm Brophy T.D., will announce a funding package of €5 million at COP27, as part of Ireland’s commitments to fight climate change. The funding will prioritise climate adaptation, particularly in Least Developed Countries and Small Island Developing States.
